SUMMER HOME GARDEN ROOM PAVILION

This existing non-descript summer home, built in the late 1970s, was lacking a family living and entertaining space. Remarkably, the home also did not relate to the landscape of the nearby lakeshore. On a constricted site, we added a garden room pavilion addition that had three seating areas, each connecting to intimate garden spaces and lake views.

The building addition exterior had to be restrained and limited in height to relate to the existing home and proposed new landscaping.
