COLONIAL COUNTRY ESTATE
Nestled among fields and trees in one of Chicago's lush Northwest suburbs, this country estate went through a remarkable transformation. The existing home, a 3,800 square foot, two-story colonial, was in great need of a functional floor plan and T.L.C. The intention of this renovation and addition project was to save as much of the existing building as possible while recreating and organizing the spatial layout according to the client's complex program requirements. The completed home contains 6,100 square feet of organized, flowing interior and exterior spaces, and the exterior detailing reflects authentic Connecticut farmhouse design.
