RENOVATION AND EXPANSION TO
NORTHERN TRUST BANK / LAKE FOREST

This landmark bank building is located in the Preservation District of downtown Lake Forest. Expanding and renovating it required sensitivity to the original architecture, the surrounding environment and detailed Georgian interiors. From a business perspective, the project had to meet growing space needs and improve work efficiency. After completing a comprehensive facility and needs analysis, we formulated a master plan. A 20,000-square-foot addition followed the renovation and reconfiguration of 36,000 square feet of existing space. The bank stayed in full operation throughout the three-phased construction process.
