WEST LAKE FOREST METRA STATION

The City of Lake Forest awarded the commission for this new commuter train station based on a city-sponsored design competition between 11 architectural firms.

Sited in west Lake Forest in a newly emerging business district, the 4,500-square-foot English country style design has set an architectural aesthetic for future commercial development. In addition to serving commuters, the station hosts businesses and civic and cultural events.
