SCHILLER PARK METRA STATION

METRA approached our firm and requested that we work with the Village of Schiller Park to create a new commuter station on the expanded Wisconsin Central train line. Schiller Park was mostly developed after World War II as an industrial and transportation hub near O'hare Airport. Having no recognizable landmarks of its own, Schiller Park wanted a train station that could spark the redevelopment of a neighboring blighted commercial district and inspire the community as a whole.
