Pets @ Home

Most people consider their pets as members of their family, so why not make your furry friend(s) comfortable and keep your life organized?!

As you think through the daily life of your pet, a dog for example, a number of things come to mind….where is the most convenient place to feed my pup? Where should we store her cleaning supplies? Which door should the leash be hung near?

Main Concepts

  • Feeding (food consumption; food storage)

  • Exercising (storage for leashes and toys)

  • Long term care (bathing area; storage for shampoo, medicine, dog jackets, and pet carriers)

  • Daily life (litter box locations; storage for brushes and towels)

Some other things to think about:

As you think through the daily life of your pet, a dog for example, a number things come to mind….where is the most convenient place to feed my pup? Where should we store her cleaning supplies? Which door should the leash be hung near?

  • Comfort: Dogs are natural den animals, so think about creating a space so they can be with you, but not be under your feet.

  • Safety: There may be areas in your home where you don’t want your pet to go.

  • Convenience: Perhaps you consider a doggie door if you are gone for most of the day, or a pet wash station.

There are more things to contemplate as you integrate your pet’s needs into your home. And you don’t want your design decisions to seem like an afterthought. We can successfully design for your pet in mind! Give us a call, we are happy to help.
